The Great Bromley Cross Pub is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday 6:30 – 11:00pm and Sunday lunchtime 12:00 – 3:00pm, unless otherwise listed.
The Post Office and Coffee Shop will be open every Wednesday morning from 10am till noon.
Friday 8th - Steve's Sausage Sizzle. Come and join us for the launch of our very own Banger “The Bromley Beast”. The “Beast” is a large jumbo sausage made exclusively for the Great Bromley Cross. Two sittings 7.00pm and 8.00pm. £4.50 for a Beast and Chips or £3 for just Hot Dog on its own. The sausages are handmade on the premises at the Great Bromley Cross. Saturday 9th - The Southend Festival Chorus led by Vanda Roberts will be performing Christmas songs and Carols from 7-9pm. This was a very popular event last year so come early to be sure of a seat. There might be some mince pies and other Christmas goodies in the interval and we will be collecting for charity too on the night.
Monday 11th - Monthly Monday Club. The pub will open for its normal hours 6:30 to 11 on the second Monday of the month.
Thursday 14th - Christmas Charity quiz in aid of Crisis. Santa Claus will be our question setter and host. Please book to ensure you get a table as our quizzes are very popular. 7.30pm for an 8pm start
Saturday 16th - Live music with The Red Hot Radiators starting at 8.30pm. WARNING They are LOUD!
Thursday 21st - Christmas Acoustic Music Night (not quite the last Thursday of this month). All welcome to play, sing, join in or listen, especially your favourite Christmas songs. We have Bernie and Charlie from the Tea Ladies joining us for a Christmas sing-a-long. Starts around 8pm. You never know, there might even be some mince pies with the sandwiches.
Friday 22nd - Early doors opening at 4pm to celebrate the last working day before Christmas. And laters we'll have our Xmas prize draw, raising money for the Essex Air Ambulance. Tickets on sale now in The Cross.
Sunday 24th - Normal Sunday lunchtime hours from 12-3 then re-opening at 6:30 till late with an extended licence.
Xmas Day - Please come and enjoy a Christmas Day drink from 12 till 3.
New Years Eve - Normal Sunday lunchtime hours from 12-3 then re-opening at 6:30 till very late. Burgers & chips available on the night. See in the New Year with Big Ben and then dancing till late.
Saturday 6th - Riverside Fish and Chip Van will NOT be here.
