The Great Bromley Cross Pub is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday 6:30 – 11:00pm and Sunday lunchtime 12:00 – 3:00pm, unless otherwise listed.
The Post Office and Coffee Shop will be open every Wednesday morning from 10am till noon.

Thursday 12th - Charity quiz in aid of Acorn Village run by Brenda and Paul. Please book to ensure you get a table as our quizzes are very popular. 7.30pm for an 8pm start. NOW FULLY BOOKED.
Saturday 14th - Curry night from Mango & Lime in Wivenhoe. Choice of 3 curries with a vegetarian option for only £11.50. Booking essential. Email email@example.com or call in and put your name in the book.
Wednesday 18th - Post Office Coffee Shop with Natalie's Nail Bar and Mimi's Pop Up Boutique. 10 - 12noon
Thursday 19th - Pop Up Boutiques from 7pm. Mimi's - a pop up ladies boutique selling beautiful clothing and accessories at fabulous prices AND Independent Stella & Dot Stylist, Liz Radley, will be bringing exclusive boutique-style accessories to the Cross. Come along for style advice and an opportunity to shop the latest pieces in relaxed surroundings. Starts at 7pm. Prosecco and cocktails available as well as our "Man-creche".
Saturday 21st - Live music. Tea Ladies are back by popular demand with their unique fusion of nearly Cajun and almost every other genre under the sun. Starts around 8:30 ish. Here's their interpretation of Motorhead's "Ace of Spades" from when they played at one of our pop up pubs.
Thursday 26th - Acoustic Music Night (last Thursday of the month). All welcome to play, sing, join in or listen (no PA). Your host this month is the ever-youthful Peter Kerr. Starts around 8pm.
Saturday 28th - Bingo night with cash prizes. Bryn is your caller for the night, but fortunately Christine is in charge. 7:30 for an 8pm start.
Saturday 4th - Fish and Fizz. Riverside fish and chip van will be in the car park from 6.30pm onwards in their regular slot of the first Saturday of the month. And why not have a glass of Prosecco with your fish and chips?

Monday 13th - Monthly Monday Club. The pub will open for its normal hours 6:30 to 11 on the second Monday of the month.
Saturday 11th - Village Litter Pick organised by the Parish Council - Starting at 10am from the Cross car park. Please wear hi-vis if you have it and bring gloves. Parish Council have litter-grabbers available. Tea and coffee available for volunteers afterwards in the pub.
Saturday 18th - Live Music - The Mild East unplugged. Up and coming Norfolk band with songs from their latest album and the odd couple or three covers. As a taster, here's the next single "Can You Hear Me David Jones?" from their latest album "Spaceman, Starman, Sony Walkman".
Sunday 19th - Breakfast or Brunch? Your call. Starting at 10.30am with last orders at 12.30pm. £8.50 per person. Bookings are essential. Leave us a message on Facebook or email us on firstname.lastname@example.org or call in at the pub. Please specify start time. Or if you just fancy a bacon or sausage sandwich just turn up and order. And of course the pub will be open at 12 noon if you fancy a pint or a glass of prosecco with your breakfast!
Saturday 25th - Grant's Famous Pie Night. Pre theatre pies available if you are going to see "The Old Curiosity Shop" which is on at Great Bromley Village Hall at 7:30 (Details to follow)

Friday 1st - Our 1 Year Anniversary. We'll be putting up our Xmas Tree and asking everyone to come and celebrate by decorating the tree and pub. Children, pets and grown-ups welcome.
Saturday 2nd- Riverside Fish & Chip van will be in the Bromley Cross car park from 6.30pm to 9 ish. Buy your fish and chips and then bring them into the pub and enjoy them with a tasty beer or gin and tonic.
Sunday 3rd - Dog Walk starting at 11am from the Cross Car park and then back to the pub after for some sustenance!
Friday 8th - Sausage Night (details to follow)
Saturday 9th - The Southend Festival Chorus led by Vanda Roberts will be performing Christmas songs and Carols from 7pm onwards. This was a very popular event last year so come early to be sure of a seat. (further details later)
